Chris and Paige Gould, owners of Central Provisions in the Old Port, have named their new restaurant in the Back Cove neighborhood Tipo, according to the liquor license application they filed with the city.
The Italian restaurant, which will be located in the former home of Borealis Bakery & Bistro at 182 Ocean Ave., will serve pizza and pastas, and it will have a raw bar.
